Living out a Promise

"...when I grow up, I will come for all of you, Amen?" were words promised daily by a young, orphaned girl in Uganda.

Since 2009, Petra Kids Ministries in partnership with Petra Christian School has been educating the orphaned and impoverished children in northern Uganda. Today, Petra Christian School houses, feeds, clothes and educates over 430 students ranging from preschool through high school. 

This year, we hope to bring you new stories and updates about what's happening at Petra Christian School and introduce you to more students that desperately need your support. Join us for our banquet in person, or virtually if you're unable to attend. We promise it will be a rewarding time. 

These children have a real chance to change their futures, but they need your help!

Sponsor a Child

Sponsoring a child tells one specific child that someone cares about them and wants them to have a bright future. Sponsors love and care about the child they sponsor and want to see that child realize their dreams. Sponsors show their child that God loves them and brought them together. 

Sponsoring a child provides for that child's education, healthcare, spiritual development, housing, uniform and hygiene. You'll receive letters from your child and have the opportunity to write back and forth. Many children form long-term, meaningful relationships with their sponsor family.
